TOT has declined to disclose which of them proposed the highest financial benefits to TOT but says it will talk with all of them on possible partnerships before picking up the best one to be the partner in each of the six business units. TOT aims to finalise the partnerships in August.
The five companies proposing to be its partners are Advanced Info Service, True Corp, Loxley, Samart Corp and Mobile LTE.
Debenture upped
TrueMove H Universal Communication, a subsidiary of True Corporation, says it received overwhelming interest in its debentures from both retail and institutional investors that resulted in an oversubscription rate of about three times the initial amount offered.
Because of market demand, the company increased the offer from the original Bt7.5 billion to the full amount of Bt10 billion.
TrueMove H Universal Communication recently offered unsubordinated and unsecured three-year debentures with the debenture holders’ representative totalling Bt7.5 billion, together with the greenshoe portion of Bt2.5 billion. The company offered a fixed coupon rate of 4.20 per cent per annum with interest payments every quarter until maturity. The debentures were priced at Bt1,000 per unit with a minimum subscription of Bt100,000 and in multiples of Bt100,000.
The debentures were distributed through Bangkok Bank, Krungthai Bank and Siam Commercial Bank, on July 23-24 and July 27-28.
Delta eyes growth
Delta Electronics Thailand said yesterday that it targeted sales-revenue growth of 5-10 per cent this year, mainly due to strong demand for new products and India markets. The company expects sales in India to rise by 20-30 per cent this year from US$150 million (Bt5.2 billion), said Kulwadee Kawayawond, head of investor relations.
Delta’s net profit margin in the second half will be lower than the 14.5 per cent it recorded in the first half as most products sold in India have low margins, she said. - Reuters
