DAVE ULRICH, dubbed by HR magazine as the "father of modern human resources", will return to Bangkok to lead a workshop for the Thai Listed Companies Association on November 18.

Pakhawat Kovithvathanaphong, chairman of the TLCA’s Human Capital Management Club, said yesterday that the association had helped subsidise the event to bring down the ticket price to just Bt6,000, because it would like to promote and educate Thai corporations on the critical role of corporate culture.
During the half-day workshop, Ulrich will speak on the topic of “Transformation and change – managing culture for success”. The TLCA targets 250-300 chief executive officers and HR executives taking part in the event at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.
Nattavut Kulnides, managing director of Adges Consulting, whose firm is the local partner of Ulrich’s RBL Group, said Ulrich was chosen because he is a speaker on HR topics that CEOs will likely listen to.
Ulrich has published more than 25 books including the latest one on “The Leadership Capital Index: Realising the Market Value of :eadership” that was launched on Amazon.com on Monday.
