TEVIN KEEPS IN TOUCH WITH HIS FANS ON FACEBOOK
One of the first tasks that Tevin Vongvanich took care of after he was promoted as chief executive of PTT on September 10 was to open his Facebook page. Unlike most CEOs, Tevin seems to write on his own Facebook page and doesn’t delegate to others to compose posts on his behalf. He sometimes converses with “friends” who comment on his posts.
Despite his many obligations, Tevin has apparently allocated his time to communicate direct-|ly with the public as he promised on his first post, dated October 22.
“Sawadee Krub. Because I have just assumed the PTT CEO post, I would like to have a channel for me to stay closer to everyone, and thus I have opened this fan page by myself.
“Anyone who has an inquiry on a subject that I can help |with or give an answer to can leave a message. I will try to read everyday and answer as many messages as I can. Thank You Krub.”
So far, Tevin has attracted |just 2,500 fanpages. Nevertheless, it is a good step for an organisation that very much needs to restore its image and reputation to realise the new PTT CEO’s pledge of making the company “the Pride and Treasure of Thailand.”
ONLY THE BEST WILL DO FOR KAN’S NEW HOME
Kan Trakulhoon, president and chief executive SCG, is preparing for his retirement |at the end of next month |after a decade in charge by building a new home made with ceramic tiles imported from |Italy. But don’t make the mistake that Kan has lost his nationalism; the ceramic tiles are all Cotto brand made from SCG’s plant in Italy.
Meanwhile, anyone interested in discovering more about building a good home may visit the SCG Innovative Exposition 2015, which is being held at the SCG Experience on the Pradit Manutham road until the end of the month. SCG is organising a professional home consultation service provided by a team of over 30 architects, all free of charge.
According to the company, four areas of consultation are provided: all you need to know about home building and |maintenance; price assess-|ment of materials required; |provision of material sample; |and re-commendations of dependable architects and |construction contractors |whose work quality has |been approved by SCG Experience.
