Le Thanh Liem, deputy chairman of the city People’s Committee, said last week that creating the chain would be significant to the city’s development.
Under the proposed programme, the city together with some southern provinces will set up and upgrade infrastructure for IT development.
Another Quang Trung Software City is planned in Dalat.
All the parks in the chain would be expected to follow the standards of the first QTSC.

EXPERTS FEAR FOR STOCK EXCHANGE
Yangon Stock Exchange is not yet ready, said some experts gathering at a discussion on Saturday on “Is Myanmar’s first-ever stock exchange ready?”
Soe Thein, retired deputy director-general of the finance ministry, said he was worried that all six companies will get the greenlight simultaneously.
“The current situation is very confusing. No other country would accept it. They will run into trouble if they give the greenlight to all the companies within the next three months. It has opened as planned in accord with the roadmap drafted in 2008.
“To be honest, it is not ready.”
At the event, Joerg Wolle, CEO of Diethelm Keller SiberHegner Holding, warned that local companies should not be in a haste to list.
“We have to make preparations for many years to be listed on the stock exchange.” – Myanmar Eleven
