The summit aims to be a platform for all attendees to strengthen ties, share experiences, understanding and insight, as well as identify regional challenges and opportunities to shape Asia towards a more responsible, sustainable and progressive socio-economic market.
It is expected to attract more than 500 attendees across Asia and globally, involving key stakeholders who play a part in driving sustainability, including youth leaders and students (in the “Future CSR Leaders Forum”); policy-makers, parliamentarians and civil-society groups; NGO, non-profit organisation and social-enterprise leaders; CEOs, CFOs, chief human-resource officers, and entrepreneurs; national, provincial and local government leaders and ministers; and CSR functional leaders, practitioners and consultants.

EU LIFTS ITS BAN ON
INDONESIA’S LION AIR

Indonesia’s largest low-cost carrier, Lion Air, has confirmed that it has been given the green light to fly to Europe after almost a decade of being banned from the continent. “It’s true,” Lion Air operational director Daniel Putut said on Thursday.
Similar confirmation was also given by the airline’s general affairs director, Edward Sirait.
Indonesian airlines had been banned from European airports since 2007, the same year that the US Federal Aviation Administration downgraded the country’s aviation safety to category 2, stating that Indonesia lacked regulations necessary to oversee air carriers in accordance with minimum international safety standards. – The Jakarta Post
