TICON BONDS GET LONG-TERM RATING

Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Limited has assigned a National Long-Term Rating to TICON Freehold and Leasehold Real Estate Investment Trust’s (TREIT) new senior unsecured bondsat ‘A-(tha) and simultaneously has affirmed TREIT’s ‘A-(tha)’ National Long-Term Rat
The outlook is stable.
The bonds, totalling up to Bt1.47 billion, will mature in 2026. Proceeds will be used to acquire additional properties.
AIRCON EXPORTS SHOW STRONG GROWTH
Export of Thai air-conditioners to Asean markets is expected to expand 18.2 per cent year on year in terms of value to US$1.349 billion (Bt46.7 billion), due to Asean’s growing economy and the growth of their real estate sector, according to Kasikorn Research Centre.
The centre recommended that air-conditioner exporters focus on the Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia markets.
The centre forecast that Thai export of air-conditioners to Vietnam would grow 52.4 per cent year on year to $581.7 million.
