Line TV adds 5 partners to bulk up content

LINE TV has joined forces with five new partners to bring more content to its viewers. The partners are Channel 8 under RS Plc; GMM BRAVO, which produces series for GMM Grammy; music labels Muzik Move and 123 Records; and Sahamongkol Film International.

The company now has more than 100 content partners, covering categories including drama, entertainment, music and animation.
This year Line TV will add two new categories: sports and beauty.
Its sports offering will include top football matches, boxing, golf, and programmes for cycling fans. Line TV works with partners such as Goal, the biggest football content provider, Channel 8 and Nine Lives.
Its beauty content will feature beauty gurus and beauty bloggers as well as makeover programmes and product reviews by Jeban, Wongnai and Vogue Thailand.
Dan Zonmani, content business director of Line Thailand, said: “Last year, Line TV saw a 136 per cent growth in its playviews, as people spent 81 per cent more time on Line TV.”
