“The AIA Group’s imperative set of requirements for data-centre providers in Thailand was, to a great extent, high and therefore it was rather a challenge for me to refine such a vendor amongst all the providers in Thailand. Ultimately, TCCtech’s data centre was selected to be AIA Thailand’s secondary site for its active/standby failover,” Kitti Manakongtreecheep, chief information technology officer of AIA Thailand, said on Tuesday.
Voradis Vinyaratn, executive director and acting managing director of TCCtech, said: “Today the leading corporations need to mitigate their risks. They look to the multiple-sites strategy to ensure their business continuity. With our positioning as a Thailand trusted cloud-enabled data-centre hub, as well as our strong customer base among MNCs [multinational corporations], we are very familiar with the stringent business requirements.
“The trust that AIA Thailand has confided in our professional services further enhanced our belief in providing the most secured environment for our clients’ assets. We take pride in that.”
TCC Technology is part of TCC Group, one of the largest conglomerates in Thailand.
