Polyplex (Thailand)’s board of directors has approved an investment of Bt3.1 billion for the establishment of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film manufacturing plant in Indonesia in order to expand its market in Asean, managing director Amit Prakash said on Monday.
Up to Bt2.68 billion will be spent on setting up the listed company’s plant, with the remainder allocated for the facility’s cash flow, he said.
The new plant is scheduled to commence operations at the end of next year.
