VietJet Air and Orient Thai Airline have requested for more domestic flights to offset the impact on revenue form International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO)'s red flag.

Chula Sukmanop, director-general of Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), said that both airlines had submitted proposals of extra domestic flights for approval by the Civil Aviation Board which would require the two carriers to abide by domestic aviation standard.
CAAT is reviewing AOC Re-certification for NewGen Airways and MJets on expectation of granting new AOC to NewGen Airways this month.
