KTC’s “All my love is PET” campaign, which aims to develop a community of pet lovers, will offer discounts, complimentary services, gifts and prizes to members until December 31.
This is in line with expectations that credit-card spending in the pet category will grow by 30 per cent by the end of the year.
Terapoj Chokeanantang, senior vice president – credit card business said: “The lifestyle of Thai people is changing. There are more single individuals and more isolated families with fewer or no children.
“Also, social media channels make it easier for people to buy products without restriction of location and time. These factors have contributed to the overall growth of pet products and services market.
“It also corresponds with the increase in spending of KTC credit card members in the pet categories.”
Terapoj said it has partners in pet categories such as fashion, clothing, accessories, hotels, restaurants and hospitals.
KTC credit card members spending at partner establishments under this campaign will benefit from three tiers of privileges. In tier 1, they will receive discounts of up to 50 per cent.
In tier 2, there will be one chance to win a prize for every Bt1,000 spent with a KTC credit card at participating veterinary hospitals and pet shops. The first prize is a 99.99 per cent gold collar pendant for the pushcaser’s pet from Gold Master worth Bt20,000, while there are 20 second prizes of Ibis hotel accommodation of one night for two people worth Bt3,000.
In tier 3, purchasers will get up to 2 per cent cash back for all credit card transactions at participating veterinary hospitals and pet shops.
Registration is required by texting “PET”, followed by a space and the 16-digit credit card number to 06 1384 5000. A fee of Bt3 per message applies. Alternatively, members can register online at www.ktc.co.th/PET.
