Triple i Logistics to boost key divisions in growth push

Triple i Logistics Plc, a full-service logistics provider in Thailand, plans to set up at the International Airport Cargo Terminal at Don Muang International Airport and to invest more in its chemicals and specialty logistics and inland transport units to drive business growth.

 The company’s chief executive officer Tipp Dalal said that Triple i is also focused on growing its Asean business by adding new air cargo branches in the Indochina region. This expansion will support the economic growth driven by the free trade agenda of the Asean Economic Community (AEC). The company will expand its business to a regional airline in Indochina.
 Further, the company plans to expand its inland Transport business, particularly the container transport business, with plans to acquire more large trucks and trailers and expand its container depot service. Moreover, Triple i plans to expand its chemicals and specialty logistics business by expanding its truck and trailer fleet to increase revenues from the distribution of chemical and dangerous goods in the country.
For the first six months of this year, the company's total revenue was Bt1.086 billion, up 10 per cent from the Bt985 million in the first six months of the previous year. Its net profit was Bt82 million in the first six months of this year, growing 64 per cent compared to net profit of Bt50 million in the first six months of last year. 
    Yesterday is the first day trade, iii, stock in the Stock Exchange of Thailand by price close Bt7.55 per share up 57.29 per cent from its initial public offering price Bt4.8 per share.
