
The company described it as “a unique investment round” that involves co-investment among Thai corporate venture capitalists (VCs) from different industries.
Beacon Venture Capital, the VC fund of Kasikornbank, has participated in the round, according to Kim Siritaweechai, Intouch’s executive vice president of portfolio management.
“As a result of rapid growth in the event-organising industry today, we see strong business potential in this market,” he said, adding that Event Pop was one of the fastest growing start-ups in this industry.
“With business expertise and proprietary technology, Event Pop not only brings a new level of efficiency to event organisers but also unique experiences to event attendees,” he said.
