Mitsubishi appoints first Thai to executive VP rank

Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co Ltd has appointed Egathi Rattana-Aree as its new executive vice president of the domestic sales and aftersales units, said a company announcement on Thursday.
Egathai is the first time that a Thai senior manager has been appointed to this role.
The company said the appointment is expected to help leverage its competitiveness in the market, better addressing customer demand and driving increased profitability and company growth.
According to the press release, Egathi has more than 14 years of experience in the automobile industry.
He has held various senior leadership positions at Mitsubishi Motors Thailand since 2003.
