UOB wins two Banking awards

United Overseas Bank (Thailand) was named the “Best Foreign Retail Bank in Thailand” for the third consecutive year and the top for “Wealth Management of the Year” for the second straight year by the Asian Banker Thailand Country Awards programme.
UOB (Thai) said the award reflected its commitment to being a sustainable foreign retail business in Thailand despite a challenging operational environment.
The bank strengthened its performance by focusing on mortgages, unsecured lending and wealth management products, he said. It also attracted a growing number of customers to its wealth management business by offering customised portfolio investments services and regional expertise.
