Transfers from state enterprises in fiscal 2017 came to Bt162.3 billion, reflecting their strong profits, said Ekniti Nitithanprapas, |director general of State Enterprises Policy Office, yesterday. The transfers marked a 15-year high and were 24 per cent above the target, he said.
The Government Lottery Office led with Bt30.9 billion , followed by PTT with Bt26.3 billion, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand Bt21.7 billion, Government Savings Bank Bt13.1 billion and the Provincial Electricity Authority Bt11.38 billion.

CP CLOSURES ON OCTOBER 26

Charoen Pokphand Group yesterday announced a temporary closure of its retail stores – 7-Eleven, CP Fresh Mart, and True Shop, as well as Makro cash-and-carry wholesale centres - throughout the Kingdom on October 26 to demonstrate the company’s deepest condolences on the Royal Cremation of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. 
CP Fresh Mart stores will close its stores at 2 pm of October 26. The True Shop stores, except for outlets at airports, will close at 3 pm.
The group’s 7-Eleven convenience stores throughout the Kingdom will close at 2.30 pm until midnight on October 26.
Makro cash-and-carry wholesale stores will close from 3 pm and reopen on October 27.
