A memorandum of understanding has been signed with five Thai universities.
The public agency will also stage the Cyber SEA Games this year, the winners of which will represent Southeast Asia in a global cybersecurity competition.
Deputy executive director Chaichana Mitrpant said the human-resources development plan covers the establishment of three-year training programme designed under a “cybersecurity capacity-building ecosystem” model that identifies demand, supply and extra remuneration and certificates.
Chaichana said personnel development under this model would help create a supply chain that was in line with demand, while building incentives for extra compensation to be gained.
