True Corp announces executive appointments to boost telecom business

True Corp group on Friday announced high-level executive and management appointments to drive forward the organisation’s telecom business leadership.

True Corp’s board of directors appointed Dr Kittinut Tikawan as co-president for commercial and Vichaow Rakphongphairoj as co-president for operations, effective December 26.
Currently, Adhiruth Thothaveesansuk is the company's co-president in charge of operations, while Vichaow is co-president in charge of commercial.
In the meantime, Adhiruth has been appointed as True vice chairman of the executive committee and vice chairman of the executive committee for e-business group.
Suphachai Chearavanont, True chairman of the executive committee, said: “Following the management restructuring earlier this year, True Group has experienced numerous positive developments with regards to network technology, customer services, operations, revenue, and subscriber base growth that significantly surpassed the overall industry’s figures. I would like to thank both co-president, Vichaow and Adhiruth, for their dedication and strong support for True Group in all aspects.”
He added that the new management appointment was in line with the designated plan. After a transitional period as co-president for operations, Adhiruth will support the e-business of Charoen Pokphand (CP) group and remain within True Group as vice chairman of the executive committee responsible for supporting True Group’s strategic projects, while Vichaow will remain in the position of co-president, but his key responsibility will be for True’s operations.
Suphachai said Dr Kittinut is a high-calibre executive with intensive experience and expertise in the commercial operations of True Group’s diverse business units.
Adhiruth will take over the new position of vice chairman of the executive committee at True as well as vice chairman of the executive committee for E-Business Group.
Vichaow will switch from his position as co-president for commercial to co-president for operations, responsible for managing network, information technology, content and media as well as other support operations.
Dr Kittinut, at his new post, will oversee the commercial operations of mobile, broadband, pay TV, convergence, regional and customer service operations. Having been with True Group for more than 11 years, Dr Kittinut was previously group chief commercial officer, responsible for developing the True brand as a leader in smartphones and the 4G network.
