Coca-Cola goes coconuts with Zico
Coca-Cola (Thailand) is looking for a share of the coconut-water market with its latest beverage, Zico, which is aid to be 100 per cent natural coconut water.
“The global market more than doubled in size and value, from Bt700 billion to Bt1.5 trillion in 2020,” IMC manager Karaked Puribhat said on Monday.
Zico, targeted at health-conscious young people, is made with green coconuts grown in Thailand.
It’s sold at Makro stores at Bt30 for 250ml and Bt95 for a litre.
