SCCC Saraburi plant goes completely wireless

Siam City Cement (SCCC) has turned its Plant 3 in Saraburi into Thailand’s first “digital connected plant”, featuring full wireless network coverage.
Chief executive officer Siva Mahasandana said on Monday the initiative was part of the firm’s commitment to improving operations and productivity in accordance with the government’s “Thailand 4.0” ambition.
SCCC is undergoing digital transformation for its manufacturing process in order to ensure sustainable growth through collaboration with partners Nutanix (Thailand), SKF, Fujitsu and Cisco Systems (Thailand).
