LACONIC BANKING ON SMES FOR RISE IN REVENUE
Laconic Technology Co Ltd, a company specialised in software development and internet technology, expects total revenue to reach Bt70 million this year by focusing on Thailand’s small and medium enterprises, the company’s founder and chief executive officer Alex Chih said.
Laconic Technology Co Ltd was founded in Thailand in 2006. The company was promoted by the Board of Investment to operate web-based applications and services including applications that cover processing power, storage unit and cloud computing, in line with the Thai government’s "Thailand 4.0" policy to upgrade SMEs business and raise service levels to increase value.
The company’s platform simplifies IT with data capture and usability which is the key to the success of SMEs development. The company’s Asian customer base which utilises the ERP system has total revenue of $ 6 billion or approximately $ 190 million.
Today, organisations or companies using The "Laconic" management system have generated more than Bt6 billion in revenues, including income from its overseas customers.
"Since our first customer in Thailand 13 years ago, we have always been confident that we would see good growth here, We hope, Malaysia as a new customer, will strengthen the company’s earnings and performance. In addition, we are now negotiating business expansion into Cambodia and Myanmar, “ he said.
