NEW CHAIRMAN FOR BOT
The board of the Bank of Thailand (BOT) has selected Porametee Vimolsiri as new chairman at a meeting on Monday.
Porametee, who is now permanent secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, will replace the current chairman, Ampon Kittiampon, who will end his term this month.
Among other posts, Porametee, 58, was a former secretary-general of the National Economic and Social Development Board.
