WITH the curtain closing on the Computex technology trade show tomorrow, The Nation presents the top 10 devices to emerge from the gathering in Taiwan. These products combine looks with functionality and are sure to fit with consumers’ tech-reliant lifestyles.

1. BagiTag - Smart luggage 
tracker
From Tektos Ecosystem, this wireless and waterproof (IP68) smart luggage tracker connects to Android and iOS supported devices. It notifies you when it's time to get your luggage from the conveyor belt, when your luggage is moving away from you, or when you have forgotten to take your luggage or bag with you.
It has a detection range of up to 30 metres. It was designed and developed into a luggage tracker that is affordable, tiny and waterproof to offer you worry-free travel because “it knows” how stressful it can be to have to wait in a queue for your luggage at airports.

2. Xiaozhi - Artificial intelligence-backed service robot
This robot can comprehend natural semantics. Xin jinbao Corp's Sanwei international group is responsible for the research and design of the hardware, with the natural semantic analysis established by Geosat Aerospace. It uses the cloud platform of Chunghwa telecom. Together, they provide a multi-purpose commercial service robot system. 
Xiaozhi can make interactive operations by hearing the natural language of users. It also can let users use the touch screen on their chest for detailed interactive experience, and provides the tour and commercial services of airports, stations, banks, hotels, department stores and other places, which provide users with a different service experience.

Developed by Darfon Innovation, it features a 756Wh battery power that lets you move with abundant power assistance. It comes with a Brose electric motor delivers robust power. The BESV Sport App helps you check your bike status and review your fitness performance for the ultimate mountain biking experience.

4. ORII – Voice-powered ring
This communication wearable was developed by Original Lab. It is the world's first voice assistant ring that transforms your hand into a communication hub. It can be used for private calls, messaging, text, readouts, and voice query functions. It combines bone conduction and voice assistance.

5. RH101 Arobot, developed 
by ADATA 
This technology is instantly likeable and offers to a wide range of responses to entertain and surprise. Users can control it via an app, including seeing what Arobot sees on smartphones and tablets. The company said it excellent for monitoring children and ensuring child safety. It comes with a 5- megapixel camera and 10,000mAh power pack with USB output, making it a mobile charger for smart devices. 
Arobot can help children learn several languages such as Chinese, English, German and Japanese. It also can help them sleep easier with bedtime stories gently told by Arobot.

6. LyfieEye200 - 360-degree
camera
It is said to be the world's first 360 AR/AV camera. The AR/VR camera lets users record and share 360-degree content using their Android smartphones. It captures 360-degree HD images, videos, and streams live to social media. It also integrated seamless with companion apps to create AR/VR experience. It is the smallest, slimmest and most lightweight device in this segment. The LyfieEye200 is manufacturer by Enron Technology and designed by eCapture Technologies.
