First Takashimaya store to open here in Nov
SIAM Takashimaya (Thailand), which comes under Osaka’s Takashimaya Group, will open the SIAM Takashimaya department store as part of the ICONSIAM project. Located on Chareon Nakhon Road on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, the new shopping mall will open its doors on November 10.
Shigeru Kimoto, president of Takashimaya Group, said SIAM Takashimaya would be a mix of Thai and Japanese cultures. “We will gather products from ‘the land of the rising sun’ here with over 530 shops, of which 80 stores will open in Thailand for the first time,” he said.
