Thai –Australia Free trade pact raises 9-month trade value
Bilateral trade value between Thailand and Australia amounted to US$12.84 billion in the first nine months of this year, up 18.9 per cent from the same period last year, thanks to the Free Trade Agreement signed between the two countries, said Auramon Supthaweethum , director-general of the Trade Negotiations Department under the Commerce Ministry.
She added that Thai exports to Australia accounted for US$8.22 billion of the total amount with imports from Australia making up the balance of US$4.62 billion.
