Thanachart Bank announced today (November 19) that it would cut its Minimum Retail Rate (MRR) lending rate to 7.150 per cent from 7.500 per cent, effective December 1.

The move is in response to the Monetary Policy Committee's decision on November 6 to cut the key policy rate by 25 basis points to 1.25 per cent. The rate reduction also aims to alleviate the burden of retail borrowers.
