KT ZMICO Securities adds 'Krungthai' to new identity
KT ZMICO Securities will change its name to Krungthai Zmico Securities Co Ltd (KTZ) as of January 17, 2020. The new identity will better convey the company's status as a subsidiary of Krungthai Bank and was approved at the company's Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM), held recently.
The company has also received Krungthai Bank's approval to include its name and logo in the new brand.
It has completed registration of its new identity with the Department of Business Development and Ministry of Commerce.
ML Thongmakut Thongyai, Chief Executive Officer of KT ZMICO Securities Company Limited (KTZ), stated that "The name Krungthai Zmico clearly reflects our strong position as a subsidiary of Krungthai Bank and we believe this competitive-edge would certainly help to maximise our brand awareness and enhance brand credibility"
"The company has engaged in a number of strategic initiatives, for instance, increasing our focus on investment banking and wealth management while continuing to strengthen our core brokerage businesses. The company has also taken measures to build up synergy with Krungthai Group in order to provide exceptional financial solutions for our customers, " said ML Thongmakut.
Shareholding structure of the company will remain unchanged with Krungthai Bank and Seamico Securities Co maintaining their holdings of 50 per cent and 49.70 per cent respectively.
