KBank trims MRR rate in wake of policy-rate cut
Kasikornbank (KBank) will on Thursday (February 6) reduce its minimum retail rate for SMEs and individual customers to 6.62 per cent from 6.87 per cent.
The move follows a policy-rate cut by the Bank of Thailand’s Monetary Policy Committee from 1.25 to 1 per cent on Wednesday, now in effect.
KBank president Predee Daochai said the move was also designed to help lift the economy.
