Annual operation fee for hotel waived as of July 1

The Cabinet on Tuesday (June 9) approved the Interior Ministry’s proposal to waive the annual operation fee levied on hotels from July 1 to June 30, 2021, in a move to ease the impact the Covid-19 outbreak has had on the hotel sector.

Under normal circumstances, hotel are subject to an annual fee of Bt40 per room.
