Principle Capital sets aside Bt5bn to expand network of hospitals, clinics
Principle Capital Plc (PRINC) has set an investment budget of Bt5 billion for 2021-2023, said its executive committee chairman Satit Viddayakorn.
Most of the budget would be spent on expanding its number of hospitals from 11 to 20, clinics to 100 and elderly care centres to five, all in 2023. Satit said the expansion is expected to boost company revenue to Bt5 billion within 2023.
The company will invest at least Bt1 billion this year – Bt900 million on establishing three new hospitals, Bt70 million on setting up an elderly care centre focused on rehabilitation, and Bt30 million on opening 10 new clinics.
Currently the company has 11 hospitals in 10 provinces.
Principle Capital’s core businesses are private hospitals and private hospital management.
