  • The project is a collaboration with VitalLife Scientific Wellness Centre, which will provide expertise in preventive healthcare and longevity medicine.
  • The club will offer comprehensive services including exercise, physical recovery, spa treatments, and dining, targeting both Bangkok residents and international travellers.
  • The first phase is scheduled to open in 2026, with the full rollout of the wellness and lifestyle components planned for 2027.

Asset World Corp Plc (AWC) is expanding into the wellness sector with the development of EA Wellness Club at The Empire, a new wellness and lifestyle space in Bangkok’s central business district (CBD).

The project is being developed in collaboration with VitalLife Scientific Wellness Centre, part of Bumrungrad International Hospital, bringing expertise in preventive healthcare and longevity medicine into the new destination.

EA Wellness Club is designed to go beyond conventional health services by combining wellness activities, exercise, physical recovery, food and drink, relaxation and community spaces under one concept to serve Bangkok residents, office workers, expatriates living in Thailand and international travellers.

VitalLife partnership adds longevity expertise

The collaboration between AWC and VitalLife will incorporate expertise in preventive healthcare and longevity medicine throughout EA Wellness Club, covering the concept, service design and health and medical standards.

Planned programmes include preventive health assessments, body composition analysis, weight and stress management and personalised approaches to health, with the aim of making proactive healthcare part of everyday life.

Asst Prof Dr Polakit Teekakirikul, Chief Executive Officer of VitalLife and Esperance and Chief Science Officer of Bumrungrad International Hospital and VitalLife, described wellness as increasingly moving away from treating health problems after they arise towards prevention, healthy longevity and more personalised care.

The partnership with AWC would combine VitalLife’s expertise in integrated longevity medicine with the EA Wellness Club ecosystem, linking specialist health knowledge with environments and routines that form part of daily life, he explained.

Wellness services span spa, recovery and dining

Services at EA Wellness Club will cover several aspects of wellness, including spa and relaxation, nutrition, exercise and movement, as well as water- and heat-based physical recovery.

Recovery facilities are planned to include ice baths and contrast therapy, which alternates between hot and cold treatments. Programmes will also cater to relaxation, post-exercise recovery and people with active lifestyles.

Wellness Spa and Dining spaces will connect relaxation, physical recovery and food, alongside movement activities, massage and personalised holistic wellness programmes.

AWC plans for the destination to operate around the clock, with activities and programmes rotating throughout the day and covering exercise, work, dining, relaxation and social interaction.

The Empire targets wellness destination role

The development of EA Wellness Club forms part of AWC’s wider plan to expand The Empire into a lifestyle ecosystem connecting work, daily life and leisure.

Spanning more than 48,000 square metres in Bangkok’s CBD, it incorporates office space, hospitality services, community areas and lifestyle facilities. The Empire Co-Living Space serves as a shared area where building users and the wider community can meet and take part in activities.

EA Rooftop at The Empire, meanwhile, provides food, drink and entertainment on the upper levels of the building, supporting AWC’s broader plan to establish The Empire as a lifestyle destination in central Bangkok.

Wallapa Traisorat, Chief Executive Officer and President of AWC, described EA Wellness Club as part of the company’s strategy to develop The Empire into a destination for health-conscious communities, bringing together work, healthcare, dining, relaxation and social interaction.

According to her, The partnership with VitalLife will add health and longevity expertise to The Empire’s wellness ecosystem, catering both to people living and working in Bangkok and to travellers visiting Thailand.

First phase due in 2026, full rollout in 2027

The first phase of EA Wellness Club is scheduled to open in 2026, followed by the gradual addition of further wellness and lifestyle components ahead of the full rollout in 2027.

The project reflects AWC’s move to connect wellness with its property, hotel, hospitality, food and community-space businesses, using The Empire as a base for new activities and services for building users and visitors.

The collaboration with VitalLife also brings health science and longevity into AWC’s wellness destination model, which is intended to serve both the everyday lifestyles of urban residents and travellers interested in health and wellness.
