4 killed, 5 missing when building collapses in Saraburi

Saraburi - A block of three-storey shop houses collapsed in Saraburi's Muang district Monday morning, killing four people and causing five others to be missing, the provincial governor said.

Saraburi Governor Thavorn Prommechai said the block of three-storey buildings in Moo 3 village in Tambon Pak Khaosarn collapsed at 7:30 am.

Thavorn said four bodies had been retrieved and five people went missing.

The governor said a person was rescued and was severely injured.

Muang Saraburi district chief Pol Col Bamrung Khongcheep said the collapsing might be caused by the land subsiding.
