	Two sergeants; Ruengrit Thongtip and Nares Tipsala and Sent Sgt Maj Sunya Jitlerm suffered from shrapnel wounds from the explosion. They were rushed to Bannang Sata Hospital. However Sunya was later transferred to Yala Hospital as his wounds were serious.</p>
