Free diagnostic services at Samitivej Hospital
Until end of this year, Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital waives diagnostic fees to patients diagnosed with six floods-related diseases - dengue fever, diarrhea, Type A hepatitis, typhoid, conjunctivitis, and leptospirosis.
All patients diagnosed with these diseases will pay for only medicine and laboratory services, the hospital said in a statement. It also recommended all to clean hands and feet to avoid contraction, eat only cooked food and avoid mosquito bites.
The hospital will keep emergency service open, with flood protection measures and the stock of medical and other supplies. Aside from Bt3 million donation, the hospital has distributed basic medicine to residents living near the premise.
