Wall St ends mixed

U.S. stocks closed mixed following report that EU officials may be creating two separate rescue funds to help curb the ongoing sovereign debt crisis
The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 52.30 points, or 0.43 per cent, to close at 12,150.13.

The S&P 500 gained 1.39 points, or 0.11 per cent at 1,258.47. Most S&P sectors ended up, led by materials.
Nasdaq fell 6.20 points, or 0.23 per cent, to end at 2,649.56, ending a four-day of gains.
