Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun, a newly established private hospital and subsidiary of the country's well-known public hospital Siriraj, will be open on April 26, targeting any patients who can afford.

Service fees will be higher than Siriraj Hospital, but are 20-25 per cent lower than those of other private hospitals. The hospital’s treatment services will also cover both general and complicated diseases.

Asso Prof Dr Pradit Panchavinnin, director of Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, says today that the new hospital aims to generate its own income without financial aids from the government in a bid to support the medical education and Siriraj Hospital, which has been funded by the government annually.
