“Pracha has three days to prove Abhisit’s involvement in the scandal,” Democrat spokesman Chavanond Intarakomalyasut said. He said he suspected Pracha had brought a trumped-up charge against Abhisit to divert attention from the alleged involvement of Pheu Thai MPs in the affair.
During the charter-change debate on Wednesday, it was alleged that coalition MPs had cast votes on behalf of absent colleagues.
The Pheu Thai Party rigorously denied the involvement of any of its MPs. Pracha subsequently alleged that Abhisit was involved in the scandal.
