Democrats at fault for trying to usurp power: Anusorn

The Democrat Party refused to accept the Pheu Thai election victory and tried to usurp power, government deputy spokesman Anusorn Eiamsaard said on Wednesday.
“The prevailing situation is like all opponents are colluding to trample and overthrow the elected governement despite its landslide mandate,” he said.
Anusorn alleged that the Democrats were working in concerted efforts with the anti-government movement in order to grab power.
The latest incident which the Election Commission had disqualifed Pheu Thai MP Karun Hosakul was proof of an on-going offensive against the government, he said.
