Wall St ends mixed

U.S. stocks ended mixed in weak trading with Dow and S&P 500 managing to small gains, as investors await further action from Federal Reserve and European Central Banks.
Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 7.04 points, or 0.05 per cent at 13,175.64.
S&P 500 added 0.87 points, or 0.06 per cent at 1,402.22.
Among the key S&P sectors, consumer staples gained, while consumer discretionary lagged.
Nasdaq composite dropped 4.61 points, or 0.15 per cent to 3,011.25.
