Wall St ends up

US stocks closed up in thin, choppy trading after a Israel-Hamas cease-fire pact in Gaza Strip,but some mixed economic reports Greece debt concerns limit gains.
Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 48.38 points, or 0.38 per cent to end at 12,836.89.
S&P 500 added 3.22 points, or 0.23 per cent at 1,391.03.
Most key S&P sectors closed up, led by telecoms and energy shares.
Nasdaq gained 9.87 points, or 0.34 per cent at 2,926.55.
