Korkaew plans another bail request

Korkaew Pikulthong, a Pheu Thai MP and redshirt leader, refused on Tuesday to apologise to the Constitutional Court, saying it was unclear which law the Criminal Court applied in ruling he had failed to show remorse for his actions.

Korkaew, who won temporary release due his parliamentary immunity while the House was in session, said he would consult with his attorney Jessada Chandee about submitting another bail request.

The Criminal Court sent him back to jail on Monday as the House had adjourned for recess.
Korkaew said he slept well last night and would be stuck in his cell until the House reconvenes. He said he was fine and felt like he’d returned to his old home.
