Thai composite stocks index (SET) closed on Friday at 1,582.93, up 8.68 points, or 0.55 per cent on hopes central bank may cut its policy rate to help exports sector, avoid harsh measures to curb the strong Baht. 
	Blue chip SET-50 index was at 1,044.82, up 5.36 points, or 0.52 per cent. 
	Top five active (value) stocks: CPALL,BLAND,CPF,MAKRO,JAS.
