No plans to dissolve House

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra yesterday dismissed rumours that she was planning to dissolve the House of Representatives, by saying: "We have just had a new Cabinet. Let it work first. There will be no House dissolution."

The opposition Democrat Party had started speculation of the House dissolution.
She added that MPs from the Pheu Thai Party would also understand the reasons behind the latest Cabinet reshuffle.
Meanwhile, Army chief General Prayuth Chan-ocha yesterday dismissed the possibility that the prime minister would interfere in the annual military reshuffle by using her powers as defence minister.
“How could she do it now that there is the Defence Ministry Administrative Act regulating the transfers?” Prayuth asked.
