Another blast in the South

Officials inspect the scene in Pattani’s Ma-Yor district yesterday where eight soldiers were injured in a bomb blast while on routine patrol. The soldiers escaped the fate of the eight soldiers killed recently in a similar attack in Yala’s Krong Pinang district because the bomb did not detonate directly beneath their vehicle.
