PM leaves for overseas trip

Leaving Thailand on Sunday for an overseas trip, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said that her deputy Pracha Promnok is assigned to keep the rubber farmer protest in control.

She also said that she would monitor the situation from overseas. Yingluck will return from the official trip to Switzerland, Italy and Montenegro on September 15.
She also insisted that the trip to Montenegro is purely to establish the relation with a new country. The invitation was extended a long time ago and she would just stop by at the country for about 1-2 hours, she said.
She was criticised of having a conflict of interest in stopping by the country which in 2009 extended her brother Thaksin Shinawatra the citizenship.
