64-year-old man killed in Nakhon Ratchasima's flood

A big flood in Nakhon Ratchasima Sunday claimed the life of a 64yearold farmer who was worried about his paddy fields.

The finding of Somnuek Cherdkornburi’s body in the strong currents of Khon Buri district raised the flood death toll to 43.
Police said the farmer left his house to check his ripening crops in the submerged fields for fear that they would die. He might have slipped from an earthen dyke, fallen into the water and drowned.
