Rainfall tops 139mm in Bangkok's east

The BMA flood prevention centre reported Wednesday that the city’s maximum accumulated rainfall was at 139 millimeters in Suan Luang district, followed by Min Buri at 130, Sai Mai at 119.5, Din Daeng at 93 – while other areas of the city braved rainfall from 20100 mm. While main roads were not flooded, smaller roads and sois in Nawamin, Lat Phrao, Chokchai 4 and Bang Na suffered from flooding caused by clogged drainagepipes, the centre said.
