Rallies delay Jakkrit's murder probe

The ongoing investigation into the killing of Olympian shooter Jakkrit Panichpatikum has hit a surprising snag - the ongoing rallies against the amnesty bill.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Lt-General Camronwit Toopgrajank yesterday put a meeting on the case off for an indefinite period. He said police investigators had to be deployed to monitor the ongoing rallies. However, he said, the investigation had made significant progress.
“We have already interrogated 51 witnesses and identified family dispute as the most likely motive,” he said.
