Most people see political conflict will not end because of ruling: survey

Most Thais expect that the on-going political conflicts will not be ended with the Constitutional Court's ruling on the charter amendment bill related to the Senate composition.

The survey carried out by Suan Dusit Pollster of Rajabhat Suan Dusit University found that 40.54 per cent of the respondents expected that the conflicts would not be over because of the ruling.
The survey found that 32.91 per cent of the respondents did not think the ruling would lead to political violence while 14.52 per cent said the ruling was expected and all sides should respect it.
The survey was held among 1,283 people nationwide from Wednesday to Friday.
