DSI chief Tarit Pengdith on Wednesday made an urgent order for officials to prepare to leave the DSI buildings and to move important documents and case files to safer places as the anti-government protesters were marching to his office on Chaeng Wattana Road.
Tarit said that he already assigned his official to negotiate with the protesters. However if it does not work out, the DSI will not confront with the protesters but will move officials to other location. He said he has yet to designate the location.
Police have also been deployed to guard the premises, he said.
Tarit gave the interview before leaving the office.
